Kingdom Triangle

As we have entered a new decade , we are beginning to understand with more clarity the ekklesia that Jesus is building. His advancing church, that is storming the gates of hell, will be unstoppable and irresistible. All of us have been guilty of trying to build something that was not necessarily iniated with our King Jesus. I know I have had good intentions over the years, but I did not fully understand , Ekklesia, Oikos, and the relationship this has with the Lord’s advancing kingdom. In the gospel of Matthew we see the correlation between these important factors.

And I say unto thee, That that art, Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give thee the keys of the kingdom heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. ( Matthew 16:18-19 )

There are four factors here, Jesus, Oikos, Ekklesia and Kingdom, and they are all related and functions together. Oikos is the translation for build and it represents house, household, field or circle of influence or assignment. Ekklesia is what Jesus is building, the called out ones as citizens of heaven, as ambassadors to declare and demonstrate the kingdom of heaven on earth in their oikos. Kingdom is the ruling and reigning place the Lord that starts in us and then flows through us. Jesus is Lord and Christ is the revelation that everything begins and ends on. I call this the kingdom triangle. I go into much more detail in my upcoming book Kingdom Awakening, The Apocalypse of Jesus and His Ekklesia. When we understand our assignment in the kingdom, related to what Jesus is building, we will see the keys of the kingdom operate properly. Today, let’s yield to the plans of the king, in Intimacy with Him, finding our Identity in Him, Influencing in our fields of assignments and walking in the Inheritance we possess in Christ.
